The International Ferret Symposium 2002 was held in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 1-3. Many of the members of the GSFS attended the three day event. Please click here to visit the International Ferret Symposium Website for more information. It was three whole days of nothing but talk about ferrets, their care etc...well, ok.... and some gambling, checking out the various casinos and just generally having a good time. Please be patient while all these pictures load. It may take awhile, especially if you are using a modem.

What do you mean you can't find my reservation???
Well, here we are in the airport waiting for the plane...and waiting...and waiting....
Hey! Weren't we supposed to be in first class???
Look here the symposium is listed in white and black on a sign! It must be real!!!
Oh my gosh...we finally made it! We are so excited!
Looking over the day's agenda!
It was a little hard to see the slides since we couldn't get the lights off but the presentations were still great!
On day three all the bugs were worked out. Here's Jeanne Carley presenting on the California Ferret Freedom fight!
After the conference day ended we visited the local pet stores and looky what we found.
Awe....aren't they so cute!!!!
This little fellow is having a ball!
Mom, can we bring them home???
They had a what for sale??? Yup and her name was Lola, she was a kanga....
It was dinnertime for Lola while we were there and one lucky club member got to help out. Notice the sign over her head....aint it the truth!
After visiting the pet store we got down to the business Las Vegas is famous for!
Dinnertime!
Downtown Las Vegas! The bright lights, the music, the crowds!
Ain't we got fun!!!
Yup, we had fun! And at the end of the day we all learned a lot at the symposium about our very favorite critters too! We gotta do this again!
