The Golden State Ferret Society is a non-profit group dedicated to the health and well-being of the domestic ferret and the people who love them. The GSFS provides education, ferret rescue, legalization information as well as social activities and support for those interested in these wonderful animals. Ownership of a ferret is NOT required and membership is strictly confidential.

Education is such a big part of our Mission Statement that we want to share with you a few documents that might help new ferret owners, people who have owned ferrets for a long time and people who are simply curious about those critters and why they are they illegal in California, ferret out infomation!!!
